Our mission is to help facilitate the education of Canadians from coast to coast on the environmental impact of renewable energy and its many forms.
Please feel free to leverage the plethora of free resources we have available. Whether you're a homeowner, a corporate entity or just a nerd who likes to learn, Sundamentals is the place to start. We don't sell panels, we don't take commissions on advice, and every resource on this site is free.
Canada's mix of sun, wind, water and biomass gives it exceptional potential for clean, emission-free generation.
Panels, turbines, heat pumps and storage keep getting cheaper and better — even through Canadian winters.
Meeting growing energy demand while shrinking our footprint is possible — if we work together.
Sundamentals stood with Nova Scotia solar owners in 2022 when a proposed net-metering surcharge threatened the industry — public pressure won, and net metering was protected. Education works.
Solar, heat pumps and EVs — short lessons, videos and instant-feedback quizzes.
